Jenii Mac is an acclaimed artist who works surrounded by the quiet inspiration of her small remote coastal studio on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula.

Her unique multi media practice which collaborates intricate imagery & metals with graphic and tactile elements is deeply aligned with the reflective sentiments of Kintsugi and Wabi Sabi , ‘the acceptance of imperfection and transience.’

'We are surrounded by enough noise’, I would like my work to take viewers to a quieter place, a gentler natured place that is both beautiful in it’s imperfection and breathtaking in it’s apparent simplicity.

Hopefully, each encounter with the piece will allow the viewer to feel present in, or with, the subject matter, and in doing so, experience a ‘quiet, soul satisfying encounter accompanied by a much needed emotional pause.
